June 2025 Issue of The Whistler

National Dairy Month is June! Dairy foods like milk, cheese, and yogurt are not only delicious — they’re also packed with essential nutrients that help kids grow strong and stay healthy. Calcium, vitamin D, and protein found in dairy support healthy bones, muscles, and energy levels.

Here are a few ways families can join the fun:

🐮 Include dairy in daily meals — a glass of milk, a slice of cheese, or a scoop of yogurt.

🥛 Try new recipes together, like smoothies or yogurt parfaits.

🧑‍🌾 Learn where dairy comes from by visiting a local farm or watching an online dairy tour.

💪 Talk with your child about how healthy food helps their body grow!

And more importantly let’s give a big thanks to the dairy farmers who work hard every day to bring fresh, nutritious foods to our tables. Happy Dairy Month!
