Our mission is to provide comprehensive education and familial support services that strengthen young children and their families who are experiencing low income. All relationships - with our staff, students, and families - are based on integrity, trust, and respect. We focus on establishing strength-based partnerships and embracing the uniqueness and diversity within our communities. Reach-Up is recognized throughout our community and the state of Minnesota as a family-focused early childhood developmental model of excellence that has a lasting impact.
What Makes Us Different?
Reach-Up provides education and support to children - and their families - from Pregnancy to Preschool. We go beyond individuals in a classroom to look at the support, resources, and services they need in every aspect of their lives to lay a foundation for a brighter future. Our staff works with expecting mothers, families of young children, and young children in a classroom setting. From nutrition support to childcare, home-based and center-based services, and everything in between, Reach-Up is here to provide a hand-up, not a hand-out.
“When I saw Reach-Up’s mission statement about supporting not just a student but the whole family made such a difference to me. This organization is special because of the support and resources they provide to us as staff, but to their students and families as well - including mental, nutritional, and general health support, family engagement resources, and so much more.”
— Ana, Staff Teacher
